It's a little sad now that school's out. This past week has been a mass exodus of college students, and I'm kind of just sitting here for a few more days before I move out. Little bRob is so lost without a school routine...no bus to run after, no homework to not be doing, no classes to gChat through...oh I miss it already.
Because it is so empty and I'm feeling a little melancholy and I'm too lazy to pack just yet, I went and bought myself some consolatory Rocky Road. I wore my gym shirt [complete with the words physical education emblazoned across the front], jean shorts, sperry's, and a dark purse that didn't match with anything. I realized I should have been ashamed to go out in public dressed like...that...so I tried to make it better by putting my hair up in a sloppy bun.
Maybe then people would think I was being ironically sloppy.
[Haha - I love how hipsters use the word "ironic" for everything now. "I'm wearing this teddy bear sweatshirt because it's ironic." Hipsters slay me.]
Anyways - to the point of this post:
So many bloggers share their domestic bliss, and I just want to contribute. Here is a fun, delicious recipe free of charge for you to share with absolutely everyone you love...
My [not so] Secret Recipe

Sometimes college is hard. Long hours, little money, no time to cook good food.. However, on nights when I am feeling especially energetic, I like to make this timeless and relatively pocket-friendly dish.

Anticipated Prep Time: Maybe 15 minutes? I don't know...my can opener takes a really long time and slows me down.
1. Boil water, add couscous. I just kind of wing the amount of water I use...and then boil until it's gone. Most of the time the couscous comes out fully cooked. I think. I've never had "professional" couscous so I really have no standard for comparison.
2. Once the couscous is donezo, add a can of chicken. Yes. You didn't even know it came in a can, did you? Beginner's tip: Drain the water first.
3. Add about a bloop's worth of salsa [bloop = the amount that comes out when you tip the jar]. I don't own spices, nor would I know how to use them even if I did. I choose to believe that salsa is a ready-made spice for the spice incapable. InstaFlavor.

This meal serves approximately 2 people. Or one really hungry girl that eats like a full-grown man. It is a little low on vegetables, unless you count salsa [which I do], so you could, you know, go eat carrots or something. I don't, but you totally can.
